Associations Committee
The Associations Committee shall deal with relations between the Confederation and its Member Associations and draw up proposals for optimum cooperation.
Audit and Compliance Committee
The Audit and Compliance Committee shall be comprised solely of persons who meet the definition of “Independent”. The Audit and Compliance Committee shall ensure the completeness and reliability of the consolidated financial statements; recommend the appointment of external auditors to the Congress; review the report of the external auditors at the request of the Concacaf Council; assess and provide recommendations on Concacaf’s internal control systems and risk management policies; and provide oversight of Concacaf’s compliance program.
Compensation Committee
The Compensation Committee shall be comprised of a majority of persons who meet the definition of “Independent”. The remaining members of the Compensation Committee may comprise of representatives of Member Associations as recommended by the Concacaf Council. The Compensation Committee shall determine the remuneration of each of the members of the Concacaf Council (including the President) and the General Secretary. No member of the Concacaf Council or any other person whose compensation is determined by the Compensation Committee shall be eligible to serve on the Compensation Committee.
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee shall ensure the organization’s financial stability by providing oversight on its budget and investments.
The Finance Committee shall determine Concacaf’s strategy regarding financial and asset management and advise the Concacaf Council on these matters. The Finance Committee shall, in particular, approve Concacaf’s budget to be submitted to the Concacaf Council for approval. In addition, the Finance Committee shall review financial results and issue any potential recommendation to the Concacaf Council as to how to adjust certain administration areas to improve results, draft policies, rules and guidelines regarding Concacaf’s overall strategy in financial and asset management matters.
Football Development Committee
The Football Development Committee shall deal with Concacaf’s development efforts, programs and initiatives. It shall propose and check appropriate strategies and analyze the support and programs provided to Member Associations. The Football Development Committee shall in particular analyze the major development challenges at stake and advise and assist the Council on Concacaf Member Association development programs.
Governance Committee
The Governance Committee shall comprise the President (ex-officio), a member of the Concacaf Council and two (2) persons who meet the definition of “Independent”. The Governance Committee shall support in the strengthening of the governance and transparency of Concacaf by assisting in the monitoring of Concacaf Member Associations’ compliance with the Concacaf and FIFA Statutes and making recommendations in relation to Concacaf’s governance programs at Member Association level. It should also advise on social responsibility, human rights and environmental protection in connection with Concacaf and its activities.
Medical Committee
The Medical Committee shall deal with all medical aspects of Football within the Concacaf region and advise the Confederation on health-related issues, policies, research and programs.
Competitions Committee
The Competitions Committee shall provide advice and guidance to Concacaf in relation to the development, organization and execution of official competitions. It shall also provide advice in relation to integrity and security matters in connection with official competitions.
Referees Committee
The Referees Committee shall exchange views on current referee topics and make recommendations on referee development programs and courses. The Referees Committee will assist the Concacaf Refereeing Department in the identification and appointment of referees for competitions organized by the Confederation and the evaluation and ranking of referees and referees observers. The Referees Committee shall implement the Laws of the Game.
