Olimpia secures win against Deportivo Mixco in 2026 Central American Cup.

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras – The 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup continued with Club Olimpia earning a 2-nil win against Deportivo Mixco in Group C on Tuesday at Estadio Nacional Chelato Uclés in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

Jorge Benguché opened the scoring in the 27’ to place Olimpia in the lead.

Edwin Rodríguez doubled the lead for the hosts in the 80’ with a left-footed finish inside the box. Kevin Güity provided the assist with a pass from the right flank to find Rodríguez in space.

Olimpia will visit UMECIT FC next Wednesday. Deportivo Mixco continues its campaign by visiting Deportivo Saprissa on Tuesday, August 11.
