Old rivals meet again after playing to a scoreless draw in last year's Group Stage.

SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador – The 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup continues with Alianza FC hosting Antigua GFC in Group B on Wednesday at Estadio Cuscatlán in San Salvador, El Salvador.

Alianza FC will make its third appearance in the tournament and will look to advance beyond the Group Stage for the first time. The club ranks second among Salvadoran clubs in most Central American Cup matches played, trailing only CD Águila (16).

Antigua GFC will also make its third appearance in the tournament after qualifying as Guatemala’s 2025 Primera División Apertura champion.

The club reached the Semifinals in 2024, joining CSD Xelajú MC as the only Guatemalan clubs to accomplish that feat.
