Group C Action Begins

Olimpia hosts Deportivo Mixco in first Group C matchup of the 2026 Central American Cup.

TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras – The 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup continues with Club Olimpia hosting Deportivo Mixco in Group C on Tuesday at Estadio Nacional Chelato Uclés in Tegucigalpa Honduras.

Olimpia is set to open its fourth consecutive Central American Cup campaign after qualifying as one as the champions of Honduras' Torneo Apertura 2025.

The Honduran giants are one of only two clubs from the country to have competed in every edition of the Central American Cup. Olimpia has posted a 9-5-2 all-time record in the competition, the fewest defeats among Honduran clubs. The team reached the Semifinals in 2025 for its best finish to date.

Deportivo Mixco will make its Central American Cup debut, in what will mark the first appearance in any international Concacaf competition for the Guatemalan club.

Mixco qualified as the top team in the overall standings during Guatemala's 2025-26 Primera División season and becomes the sixth team from the country to compete in the tournament. Founded 62 years ago, Mixco is also the youngest Guatemalan club to qualify for the Central American Cup.
