CS Cartaginés welcomes Verdes FC in Group D
CS Cartaginés looks to continue its strong home form as Verdes FC visits in search of its first points in Group D.
CARTAGO, Costa Rica – The 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup continues on Tuesday with CS Cartaginés hosting Verdes FC in Group D at Estadio José Rafael Fello Meza in Cartago, Costa Rica.
The match will mark the second time the clubs have faced each other in the history of the tournament. The first encounter came last year, when CS Cartaginés claimed an 8-1 victory at home.
The Costa Rican club is unbeaten in six of its eight home matches in Central American Cup history, including wins in three of its last four as hosts.
CS Cartaginés is coming off a 1-1 draw against CSD Municipal, while Verdes FC fell 5-0 to FC Motagua.
