Alianza FC hosts CS Herediano in Group B

Alianza FC looks to build on its Matchday 1 victory, while CS Herediano seeks its first win of the tournament.

MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup continues with Alianza FC hosting CS Herediano in Group B on Wednesday at Estadio Cuscatlán in San Salvador, El Salvador.

Alianza is coming off a 2-1 win over Antigua GFC thanks to a penalty kick from William Parra in the 85’.

CS Herediano will aim to increase its attacking output after a scoreless draw against CD Marathón. The Costa Rican club has not lost in six of its eight away matches in Central American Cup history, but enters the match on a four-game winless run.

Alianza FC will be looking for consecutive home wins in the Central American Cup for the first time. The club has never drawn a home match in the competition, recording three wins and two losses in five matches.
