Alianza FC beats CS Herediano
Alianza FC remained perfect in Group B with a home victory over CS Herediano.
San Salvador - The 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup continued on Wednesday with Alianza FC earning a 1-0 win over CS Herediano in Group B at Estadio Cuscatlán in San Salvador, El Salvador.
The lone goal of the match was scored in the 46’ when Nelson Rodríguez sent a low ball into the box, connecting with David León who finished the chance.
With the result, the Salvadoran club sits atop Group B with six points in two matches.
Alianza FC will continue its Central American Cup campaign against Real Estelí FC on Tuesday. CS Herediano, meanwhile, will also face Real Estelí FC next, playing the Nicaraguan club next Tuesday.
