Club Olimpia came from behind to earn its second victory of the tournament.

Penonomé, Panama - The 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup continued on Wednesday with Club Olimpia earning a 2-1 win over UMECIT FC in Group C on Wednesday at Estadio Universidad Latina in Penonomé, Panama.

UMECIT FC quickly opened the scoring as Hilberto Peralta met a Alberto Saldaña cross and finished the chance just five minutes into the match.

Club Olimpia responded with an equalizer in the 22’ when Raúl García scored from close range after his initial attempt was blocked.

Imanol Enríquez netted the winner for the Honduran club in the 83’ when the keeper’s save bounced to him and he reacted with a quick strike to secure the three points.

UMECIT FC will continue its Central Cup campaign next Thursday against Alianza FC (Panama). Club Olimpia will face the same opponent in its next encounter on August 20.
