2026 Concacaf Central American Cup Club Rosters Confirmed

Two days before each match, clubs must select a maximum of 23 players from their 35-player list to complete their final match rosters.

Miami, FL – The 20 clubs participating in the fourth edition of the Concacaf Central American Cup have submitted their 35-player rosters for the regional club tournament, which kicks off on July 28. The rosters include a maximum of 35 players per club.

The rosters have been selected and submitted by each club and are published accordingly. To be eligible to participate in the 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup, all players must be registered with their club and the appropriate Federation and be eligible to play in any league match for the current playing season, as per the FIFA transfer deadlines in each country.

Clubs that have registered fewer than 35 players may add additional players up to 44 hours before each match, provided that their roster does not exceed 35 players. Once a player is registered, he may not be removed or replaced. Two days before each match, clubs must select a maximum of 23 players from their 35-player list to complete their final match rosters.

The fourth edition of the tournament will take place from July to December 2026, determining the Central American club champion and serving as a qualifier for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup.

The competition will kick off with the Group Stage, where each club will face every other team in its group once. In this opening round, each club will play four matches over five scheduled weeks, beginning on July 28.

At the conclusion of Group Stage play, each group's first and second-place finishers will advance to the Knockout Stage. The Knockout Stage will feature home-and-away matches, beginning with the Quarterfinals (September 8–10 and September 15–17), followed by the Semifinals and Play-In (October 20–22 and October 27–29), and culminating in the Final (December 2 and December 6, 2026), where the champion of Central America will be crowned.

For the Quarterfinals, eight qualified teams (four group winners and four runners-up) will be ranked 1–8 based on their Group Stage performance. Group winners will be seeded 1–4 and runners-up 5–8, with matchups set as follows: 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5. The four highest-ranked teams will host the second-leg matches.

For the Semifinals and Play-In, pairings will be determined based on the tournament bracket. In each matchup, the higher-ranked club based on overall competition performance will host the second leg.

Six clubs, including the four semifinalists and two Play-In winners, will qualify for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup. The champion will also receive a bye to the Champions Cup Round of 16.

LD Alajuelense is the reigning champion of the Concacaf Central American Cup, having secured its third consecutive title in 2025. The Costa Rican club defeated Guatemala's CSD Xelajú MC 4-3 on penalties after a 2-2 aggregate draw in the 2025 Final.
