Houston Dynamo have qualified for the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup after winning the 2023 U.S. Open Cup.
This will be the eighth Champions Cup appearance for the Dynamo and their first since the 2019 edition when they reached the quarterfinals. Houston will begin the tournament in Round One. Overall, in 36 matches, Houston has a Champions Cup record of 14W-10D-12L, with 45 goals scored and 43 conceded.
The Dynamo’s best finish came as semifinalists in the 2007 and 2008 editions. They were also quarterfinalists in the 2008-09, 2012-13 and 2019 tournaments. The all-time appearances leader for the Dynamo in the Champions Cup is Bobby Boswell, with 19 matches played.
