Comunicaciones have qualified for the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup as one of the two 2023 Concacaf Central American Cup Play-In winners. They will begin in Round One. This is their first Champions Cup appearance since the 2022 edition when they reached the quarterfinals. Comunicaciones debuted in the Champions Cup in the inaugural version in 1962 and their best finish came in 1978 when they were champions. They were also runners-up in the 1962 and 1969 tournaments.
