Parra seals victory for Alianza against Antigua

Alianza FC is off to a winning start in Group B with a 2-1 victory over Antigua GFC.

SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador – The 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup continued with Alianza FC earning a 2-1 victory over Antigua GFC in Group B on Wednesday at Estadio Cuscatlán in San Salvador, El Salvador.

Harold Osorio opened the scoring in the 30’, with a powerful right-footed strike from inside the box to put Alianza in front.

Antigua equalized in the 76’ with a long-range half volley from Óscar Castellanos.

William Parra restored the lead for the hosts from the penalty spot in the 85’ as Alianza secured all three points.

Group B action continues next week with Antigua hosting Real Estelí FC on Tuesday. Alianza will host CS Herediano on Wednesday.
