Deportivo Saprissa set to host Deportivo Mixco in Group C action

SAN JUAN DE TIBÁS, Costa Rica - The 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup continues on Tuesday with Deportivo Saprissa hosting Deportivo Mixco in Group C at Estadio Ricardo Saprissa in San Juan de Tibás, San José, Costa Rica.

The match will present the first meeting between the clubs in an official competition.

The home side enters the match with aims of continuing its winning start after posting victories in its first two Group C fixtures. In its most recent Central American Cup match, Saprissa overcame Alianza FC 2-1 with goals from Mariano Torres and Orlando Sinclair securing the result.

Saprissa will also look to extend its strong home form in the tournament, with Los Morados going unbeaten in 10 of the 11 home matches they have played in Central American Cup history (8W-2D-1L).

Deportivo Mixco enters its second match in its debut Central American Cup seeking its first points after falling against CD Olimpia in its Group Stage opener.
