Alianza FC hosts UMECIT FC in an all-Panamanian Group C meeting
Both Panamanian clubs enter the match in search of their first points in their Central American Cup debut campaigns.
PANAMA CITY, Panama - The 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup continues on Thursday with Alianza FC hosting UMECIT FC in Group C at Estadio Rommel Fernández in Panama City, Panama.
The match will present the first meeting between the sides in an international Concacaf competition.
Alianza enters its second fixture of its debut campaign in the tournament in search of its first points after narrowly falling 2-1 against Deportivo Saprissa in Costa Rica. Jamal Garcés scored in the match, recording Alianza’s historic first goal in Central American Cup history.
UMECIT also enters the match in search of its first points after falling to defeat in its first two Group C fixtures.
