Brown rescues point for Jamaica against Panama
Jamaica and Panama played out a 2-2 stalemate in their second Group C match at the 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship
PUEBLA, Mexico – The 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship continued with Jamaica and Panama playing out a 2-2 draw on Wednesday in Group C at Estadio Universitario BUAP in Puebla, Mexico.
Moisés Richards opened the scoring in the 13’ to hand Panama the lead, striking with a left-footed effort from the top of the box.
A great passing sequence resulted in Panama doubling its lead in the 22’ through Gerson Gordón.
Jahmarie Nolan shortened the deficit for Jamaica in the 62’.
The Reggae Boyz equalized through a last-gasp header inside the box from Jaquan Brown in the 90+6’ off a set piece.
Jamaica will face Canada in its third and final Group Stage match on Saturday. Panama takes on Honduras for its final Group C encounter.
