Club León and Club America will face off in the Third-Place match

MIAMI – The Leagues Cup 2026 continued with Liga MX powerhouses Deportivo Toluca FC and CF Monterrey earning their spot in the Final after respective wins in the Semifinals. Club León and Club América will face off in the third-place match.

Deportivo Toluca FC 2-0 Club León

Deportivo Toluca FC earned a 2-nil victory over Club León at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, Texas, USA.

Federico Pereira opened the scoring for Los Diablos Rojos in the 41’ with a right-footed shot from the edge of the box.

Deportivo Toluca FC doubled its lead in the 69’ when Federico Viñas put a stamp on the victory with a shot from close range to help the reigning Concacaf Champions Cup winners advance to the Final.

Club América 2 (4) - 2 (5) CF Monterrey

Club América and CF Monterrey played to a 2-2 draw, with the latter prevailing in a penalty kick shootout at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, USA.

After a scoreless first half, Diego Rossi got Monterrey on the board first in the 49’ as he chipped the keeper from the right side of the field.

Club América quickly responded in the 57’ as Ramón Juárez fired a left-footed shot from the middle of the box. Las Águilas took the lead when Alan Cervantes blasted a strong one-timer from distance in the 64’.

Rayados leveled it again just five minutes later, in the 69’, as Lucas Ocampos converted from the penalty spot, taking the game to a penalty shoot-out.

CF Monterrey was perfect in the penalty kick shootout, not missing one shot, with Cervantes’ miss for Club América proving to be the decisive moment.
