All-Liga MX field set for Leagues Cup 2026 Semifinals

Deportivo Toluca FC, Club León, Club América, and CF Monterrey compete for two places in the Leagues Cup 2026 Final.

MIAMI – Leagues Cup 2026 continues with two all-Liga MX Semifinals matchups that will determine the finalists and key qualification slots for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup.

Deportivo Toluca FC vs. Club León

Deportivo Toluca FC will face Club León at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, Texas, USA.

Both teams are coming off shutout victories in the Quarterfinals, with Deportivo Toluca FC defeating Austin FC 2-0, and Club León earning a 3-0 victory over Real Salt Lake.

Dibér Cambindo led the way in an impressive offensive showing for Los Panzas Verdes, recording a brace.

Club León is undefeated in this year’s edition of the tournament through four matches against MLS opposition. Daniel Arcila has been a driving force, leading the Golden Boot with four goals thus far.

Toluca, the reigning Concacaf Champions Cup champion, will look to add another trophy behind the attacking trio of Helinho, Federico Viñas, and Alexis Vega.

Club América vs. CF Monterrey

Club América will take on CF Monterrey at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, USA.

Las Aguilas are coming off a 2-0 shutout win over Columbus Crew in the Quarterfinals, while Rayados advanced with a 2-1 victory over Chicago Fire FC.

Brian Rodríguez has been a standout for Club América with three goals and three assists in the tournament. Goalkeeper Rodolfo Cota has also played a key role for the Liga MX powerhouse with 15 saves through four matches.

CF Monterrey returns to the Semifinals for the first time since 2023, when it fell 2-0 to Nashville SC.

Hugo Cuypers and Orbelín Pineda have powered Rayados throughout the tournament with five combined goals, including a winner from Pineda in the Quarterfinals.
