MIAMI – The Leagues Cup 2026 concludes on Sunday with Deportivo Toluca hosting CF Monterrey in the Final at Estadio Nemesio Diez in Toluca, Mexico.

Toluca is coming from a 2-nil win over Club León in the Semifinals. Federico Pereira and Federico Viñas, who has scored three goals so far in the competition, were on target to seal the victory as the reigning Concacaf Champions Cup winners advanced to the tournament’s Final for the first time.

Monterrey also enters its first Leagues Cup Final, sealing its place in the championship match after a 2-2 draw in regulation before winning 5-4 on a penalty shot out against Club América, with Diego Rossi and Lucas Ocampos being the scorers for Rayados in the Semifinals.

Monterrey striker Hugo Cuypers currently has three goals in five Leagues Cup appearances, placing him second among top scorers and keeping him in contention in the Golden Boot race.
