Leagues Cup 2026 continues with eight Matchday 6 contests
Eight Phase One matches will take place on Sunday as clubs continue their pursuit of a place in the knockout stage.
MIAMI – Leagues Cup 2026 will continue on Sunday with eight Phase One matchups. The Concacaf-sanctioned competition between MLS and Liga MX clubs will see teams battle for the regional crown and three spots in the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup.
Seattle Sounders FC vs. Querétaro FC
Sunday’s action will kick off with Seattle Sounders FC hosting Querétaro FC at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington, USA.
Both sides will look to bounce back after falling to defeats in their tournament openers.
Philadelphia Union vs. Club Necaxa
Philadelphia Union will welcome Club Necaxa to Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania.
Philadelphia Union enters the match in search of its first points of Leagues Cup 2026 after a 1-0 defeat to Cruz Azul.
Necaxa will also look to recover after falling 2-0 against Chicago Fire FC in its first match of the tournament.
Cruz Azul vs. New York City FC
Cruz Azul and New York City FC will face off at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey, USA.
The Liga MX powerhouse will aim for another three points after its 1-0 victory over Philadelphia Union. José Paradela bagged the winner for Cruz Azul in the match.
New York City FC will also aim carry on with its winning start after a 2-0 shutout of Santos Laguna through goals from Tayvon Gray and Nico Cavallo.
Chicago Fire FC vs. Club Santos Laguna
Chicago Fire FC and Club Santos Laguna are set to clash at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois, USA.
Chicago Fire will look to carry its momentum forward after starting its Leagues Cup campaign with a 2-0 victory over Club Necaxa. Jonathan Dean and Andrew Gutman scored the goals for the MLS club in the match.
Santos Laguna enters the match in search of its first points after its defeat against NYCFC.
Nashville SC vs. Atlético de San Luis
Nashville SC will take on Atlético de San Luis at home at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
Nashville enters the meeting after a 1-0 loss to Club León.
Atlético de San Luis, meanwhile, fell to a 4-2 defeat against Inter Miami. David Rodríguez and Rafa Llorente were the scorers for the Liga MX club in the match.
Austin FC vs. Club Puebla
Austin FC meets Club Puebla at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas, USA.
The home side is coming off of a 2-0 win over Club Tijuana. Goals from Joseph Rosales and Jon Gallagher powered Austin to victory.
