2026 Concacaf Central American Cup Quarterfinals Schedule Confirmed
- Quarterfinals set for Sept. 9-10 and 16-17
- Six clubs will qualify for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup
- Champion will earn a bye to the 2027 Champions Cup Round of 16
Miami, FL (Friday, August 28, 2026) – Concacaf has confirmed the 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup Quarterfinals matchups and schedule following the conclusion of the Group Stage. The first-leg matches will be played between Sept. 9-10, while the second-leg matches will be played between Sept. 16-17 to conclude the round.
The Group Stage featured four groups of five clubs each playing every other team in their group once for a total of four matches per club (two at home and two away) across five scheduled weeks. Following the conclusion of the round, which ran from July 28 to August 27, the top two teams from each group secured qualification to the Knockout Stage. The eight qualified clubs are listed below (Group Stage standings are available here):
Group A: LD Alajuelense (CRC), L.A. Firpo (SLV)
Group B: Alianza FC (SLV), CD Marathón (HON)
Group C: Club Olimpia (HON), Deportivo Saprissa (CRC)
Group D: CS Cartaginés (CRC), FC Motagua (HON)
Knockout Stage Format
The Knockout Stage will consist of home-and-away series, beginning with the Quarterfinals, followed by the Semifinals and Play-In, and concluding with the Final, where Central America’s champion will be crowned.
For the Quarterfinals, the eight qualified teams (four group winners and four runners-up) will be ranked 1–8 based on their Group Stage performance. Group winners will be seeded 1–4 and runners-up 5–8, with matchups set as follows: 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5. The four highest-ranked teams will host the second-leg matches.

- QF4: Alianza FC (SLV) vs FC Motagua (HON)
The Semifinals and Play-In pairings will be determined based on the tournament bracket. In each matchup, the higher-ranked club based on overall competition performance will host the second leg.
The four semifinalists and the two play-in winners (a total of six clubs) will qualify for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup, joining the clubs that have already secured a place in next year’s competition. The champion will also receive a bye to the Round of 16 in the Confederation’s premier 27-club competition as it celebrates its 65th anniversary.
