Nicholas Dillon scores twice off the bench as Defence Force FC rallies past SV Broki for its first victory of the Caribbean Cup campaign.

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad and Tobago – The 2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continued on Thursday with Defence Force FC earning a 2-1 win over SV Broki in Group A at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

Alan da Costa opened the scoring for SV Broki with a left-footed curler from outside the box in the 34’.

Defence Force FC netted the equalizer in the 74’ as Nicholas Dillon pounced on a rebound and converted the chance.

Eight minutes later, Dillon delivered the winner with a shot from inside the box to record his brace just 17 minutes after coming off the bench.

Defence Force will continue its Caribbean Cup campaign on September 1 against Club Sando FC. SV Broki will face Delfines del Este FC in its next encounter on September 2.
