Guatemala earned its first three points in Group B at the 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship

PUEBLA, Mexico – The 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship continued with Guatemala earning a 4-nil win over Antigua and Barbuda in Group B on Monday at Estadio Cuauhtémoc in Puebla, Mexico.

Guatemala opened the scoring in the 14’ as Oscar de León finished a cross from Julio Ramos.

In the 38’, the duo linked up again with de León providing the assist for Ramos to double the lead.

Los Chapines extended their lead in the 82’ when Marvin Ávila forced a turnover and connected with Mayron González, who had entered the match a minute earlier, to finish the play.

Ávila delivered his second assist of the match in the 86’ with a pinpoint cross that Brayan Guerra headed home to seal the victory.

Guatemala will play its final Group Stage match against Mexico on Thursday. Earlier that day, Antigua and Barbuda will face Costa Rica.
