Next Phase of Commercial Growth

Confederation to strengthen in-house commercial capabilities and expand global partnerships as U.S. commercial sales agreement approaches expiration.

Miami, FL – Concacaf has announced the next phase of its commercial growth, focused on expanding its sponsorship portfolio, developing new partnerships, and strengthening its in-house commercial sales and partnership management capabilities.

The announcement builds on a decade of significant transformation across the Confederation, including an expanded and strengthened competitions calendar, higher standards across the game, and the development of a more comprehensive commercial program.

This progress has been accompanied by significant growth in media rights distribution, including new and expanded partnerships with leading broadcasters and platforms in the United States, such as FOX Sports as the English-language home of the Concacaf Gold Cup and Concacaf Nations League, TelevisaUnivision as the Spanish-language partner for the Concacaf Gold Cup, Concacaf Nations League, and all Concacaf women's competitions, and CBS Sports as the English-language home of Concacaf women's competitions and the exclusive English- and Spanish-language home of the Concacaf Champions Cup.

Building on this momentum and football's continued growth across North America, Central America, and the Caribbean, Concacaf is taking a more active role in developing and managing its commercial partnerships.

Following a decade of successful collaboration, Concacaf's exclusive U.S. commercial sales agreement with Soccer United Marketing (SUM) is scheduled to expire at the end of 2026 and both parties have agreed not to extend the agreement. This transition will provide the Confederation with greater flexibility to develop and manage its commercial partnerships and work with different partners across its competitions and commercial properties.

Concacaf and SUM will continue collaborating on key initiatives, including the 2027 Concacaf Nations League Finals, scheduled for March 25–28 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, CA, and the 2027 Concacaf Gold Cup.

"Over the past decade, we have worked hard to transform Concacaf, strengthen our competitions, and create new opportunities for our Member Associations and commercial partners. SUM has been an important partner throughout this journey, and I want to thank them for their commitment and contributions to our Confederation's growth.

"As we enter this next chapter, we are excited to build on that foundation, strengthen our commercial capabilities, and develop new partnerships that will support the continued growth of football across our region," said Concacaf President and FIFA Vice President Victor Montagliani.
