Spots in the Central American Cup Final Will Be Up for Grabs.

MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup Semifinals 2nd Leg action match-ups, as well as the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Round of 16 take center stage in This Week in Concacaf.

Here’s what lies ahead this week:

2026 Concacaf Central American Cup

The 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup continues with two Second Leg Semifinals matches to define who will advance to the Final.

Olimpia will host CS Cartaginés on Wednesday, followed by LD Alajuelense hosting FC Motagua on Thursday.

The Play-In Series will also continue as the team's battle for the remaining 2027 Champions Cup spots. Alianza FC will take on CD Marathón on Tuesday, followed by Deportivo Saprissa facing L.A. Firpo on Wednesday.

The winner of those series will book their spot in the 2027 Champions Cup.

FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2026

The United States and Mexico will represent Concacaf in the Round of 16 of the tournament. The U.S. and Mexico both finished in second place of their respective groups.

Mexico will play Nigeria on Thursday, followed by the United States facing Spain.

2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup

The 2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continues with one Semifinals match when Violette AC takes on Portmore United to decide who advances to the Final against the defending ChampionMount Pleasant FA, who secured their ticket to the Final last week.

Portmore United lead the series 3-1 on aggregate after their home win in the First Leg against Violette AC.
