Mount Pleasant and Salcedo FC tied 1-1 in Dominican Republic.

MOCA, Dominican Republic – Group B action in the 2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continued on Wednesday with Mount Pleasant and Salcedo FC sharing points after a 1-1 draw at Estadio Moca 85 in Moca, Dominican Republic.

The visitors wasted no time opening up the goal count of the night, scoring their first goal in the 7’, Warner Brown controlling a long pass in the box, sending a right foot shot to the back of the net.

Salcedo FC found the equalizer in the first minutes of the second half, in the 49’, thanks to a left foot shot by Sebastian Ramos from the middle of the area.

Goalkeeper Favio Marte was key for the Dominican side, making a double save in the minute 66’ to hold the score for Salcedo FC.

Mount Pleasant will continue their Group B run on September 9th against Portmore United at National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica. Salcedo FC will welcome Cibao FC at Estadio Moca 85 in Moca, Dominican Republic on September 10th.
