Salcedo FC, Cibao FC looking to make Caribbean Cup history 

Both teams are hoping to add a new chapter to their respective tournament runs.

MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continues on Thursday with Salcedo FC hosting Cibao FC in Group B at Estadio Moca 85 in Moca, Dominican Republic.

Sitting on top of Group B, Salcedo FC is unbeaten so far in this year’s edition of the tournament with 1W-2D-0L.

Cibao FC is also unbeaten with a win and a draw, most recently defeating reigning champions Mount Pleasant.

Salcedo FC could become the first team from the Dominican Republic to avoid defeat in their first four games in the Caribbean Cup , surpassing Atlético Pantoja’s record in 2023.

Cibao FC will be aiming for their first victory over Dominican opposition in the competition, having drawn three times and lost their last encounter against Universidad O&M in the 2025 Semifinals.
