Reigning champions Mount Pleasant FA look for win in the tournament

MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continues on Wednesday with Portmore United facing Mount Pleasant FA in Group B at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.

Reigning Caribbean Cup Champions Mount Pleasant FA is seeking its first win of this year’s edition of the tournament after falling to Cibao FC in the opener and drawing against Salcedo FC in its last encounter.

Portmore United is coming off a 2-nil shutout over Cavalier FC in the last matchday. They are looking to join Harbour View and Cavalier FC as the only Jamaican teams to win two of their first three games in the competition.

This will not be the first time Mount Pleasant faces Jamaican opposition, recording a win against Arnett Gardens 2-1 and falling to Cavalier FC 2-nil, both in 2024.
