Mount Pleasant Seals Group B Top Spot

Defending champions close out Group Stage with key win to advance to Semifinals.

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The 2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continued on Thursday with defending champions Mount Pleasant FA defeating Cavalier FC 1-nil in Group B at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.

The winner came late in the first half, in the 39’, through Nickalia Fuller, who capitalized on a short defensive clearance with a finish from long-range from the left flank.

With this result, Mt. Pleasant finished the Group Stage in first place in Group B with a 2W-1D-1L record. The Jamaican club will now continue its title defense taking on Club Sando FC.

Cavalier FC, meanwhile, closed out its 2026 Caribbean Cup campaign with a 0W-2D-2L record.
