Club Sando rallies past SV Broki in historic Caribbean Cup debut
Club Sando FC comes out on top against SV Broki in a battle between debutants in the Caribbean Cup.
Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago – The 2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continued on Thursday with Club Sando FC earning 2-1 win against SV Broki at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
Shaquille Cairo handed Broki the lead in the 35’, heading home a precise delivery from Franklin Singodikromo.
The home side equalized in the 45+1’ through a penalty converted by Luke Phillip.
Shackiel Henry completed the comeback for Club Sando in the 65’ with a header from close range to capitalize on a rebound inside the penalty area.
Broki will face Defence Force on the road in its next Group Stage match on August 20. Club Sando will continue its Caribbean Cup campaign on Matchday 3 with a visit to Defence Force FC on September 1.
