Cibao FC, Cavalier FC share points in Group B

The finalists from the 2024 edition played to a scoreless draw in their latest Caribbean Cup meeting.

Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic - The 2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continued on Wednesday with Cibao FC and Cavalier FC playing to a scoreless draw in Group B at Estadio Cibao in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.

The match marked the fourth meeting between the clubs in Caribbean Cup history, and a rematch of the 2024 Final, which Cavalier FC won after the two-legged series.

The hosts controlled 74% possession but couldn’t find a breakthrough goal in a hard-fought match that saw the sides split the points.

Cibao FC will continue its Caribbean Cup campaign with a match against reigning champions Mount Pleasant FA on August 18. Cavalier FC will face Salcedo FC in its next encounter on August 20.
