Victor Montagliani sends message to Suriname and Jamaica

"The FIFA World Cup 2026 Playoff Tournament kicks off today in Monterrey and Guadalajara, marking a defining moment for Suriname and Jamaica, and for football across our Confederation.

Both nations have earned the opportunity to compete for a place at this summer’s FIFA World Cup 2026 following a regional qualifying campaign that has highlighted the progress our Confederation has made over the past decade.

This playoff also represents a historic opportunity for Concacaf, with the potential for a record eight of our Member Associations to qualify for the FIFA World Cup.

On behalf of the entire Concacaf football family, we look forward to seeing Suriname and Jamaica take the field with confidence and determination, knowing that we stand united as One Concacaf behind them."
