Mexico remains atop the latest Concacaf Men’s National Team Rankings.

MIAMI - Mexico remains atop the latest Concacaf Men’s National Team Rankings as the region hosts the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The Concacaf Ranking Index grades all national teams across the confederation. Nations gain points from results in the Nations League, Gold Cup, World Cup Qualifiers, and other international matches.

Additionally, the ranking positions following the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup 2026 will be used to determine the seeding and draw pots for the 2026/27 Concacaf Nations League A.

Mexico Remains No. 1 Ahead of FIFA World Cup 2026

FIFA World Cup 2026 co-host Mexico (2,017) leads the overall rankings. The reigning Concacaf Gold Cup and Concacaf Nations League champions enter the World Cup opening match as the highest-ranked team from its region.

Fellow World Cup co-host Canada (1,819) remains in second place, followed by Panama (1,803).

The United States (1,737) retains fourth place as it hosts its second FIFA World Cup on home soil. Costa Rica (1,624) rounds out the top five.

The remainder of the Top 10 remains unchanged. Honduras (1,549) sits sixth, followed by Jamaica (1,515) in seventh. Haiti (1,498) ranks eighth as Les Grenadiers prepare for their first World Cup appearance in 52 years. Guatemala (1,436) is ninth, while Trinidad and Tobago (1,356) rounds out the Top 10.
