MIAMI – The continuation of the 2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup Group Stage, the Leagues Cup 2026 Semifinals, and the start of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup headline This Week in Concacaf.

Here’s what lies ahead this week:

2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup

The Concacaf Caribbean Cup continues with four fixtures across Matchday 3.

Action for the week begins with Defence Force FC hosting Clubs Sando FC on Tuesday, followed by two matches on Wednesday and one more on Thursday.

At the conclusion of the competition, the finalists and third-place finisher will qualify for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup, with the champion receiving a bye to the Round of 16.

Leagues Cup 2026

Leagues Cup 2026 continues with the Semifinals, as the four remaining competitors battle it out for the two coveted spots in the Final.

Both Semifinals will take place on Wednesday, with reigning Concacaf Champions Cup winners Deportivo Toluca FC facing Club León and Club América taking on CF Monterrey.

At the conclusion of the competition, the two finalists and third-place finisher will qualify for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup, with the champion qualifying directly to the Round of 16.

FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup

The Group Stage of the 12th edition of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, which is taking place in Poland, kicks off this week. Four Concacaf nations are set to represent the region at the global competition: Canada, Mexico, United States, and Costa Rica.

Three Concacaf representatives will play their opening fixture this week. Mexico and Canada open their campaigns on Saturday, with Mexico facing Benin in Group A and Canada playing England in Group B, while the United States is set to face Italy in its first Group D encounter on Sunday.

Once the Group Stage concludes, the top two teams in each group qualify for the Round of 16, along with the four best third-placed teams. There will then be Quarterfinals, Semifinals, a Third-Place Match, and the Final, which will conclude the tournament on September 27.
