Tigres UANL welcomes Nashville SC for Semifinals Second Leg
The Mexican side is coming off a 1-nil victory on the road in the First Leg.
MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup continues with Tigres UANL hosting Nashville SC in the Second Leg of their Semifinals series on Tuesday at Estadio Universitario in San Nicolás de los Garza, Nuevo León, Mexico.
The Mexican side is coming off a 1-nil victory on the road in the First Leg thanks to a goal from Ángel Correa. Tigres had plenty chances to extend its lead, but Nashville goalkeeper Brian Schwake came up with some big saves to keep it at just a one-goal deficit.
Coming off a clean sheet, standout Tigres goalkeeper Nahuel Guzman is now up to 11 saves in this year’s edition of the tournament. The away goal could be crucial for Tigres as the Mexican club looks to advance to their first Concacaf Champions Cup Final since winning the tournament in 2020.
Nashville SC will be looking to turn the series around and win in Mexico but might be without their star striker Sam Surridge due to a back injury. The club is coming off becoming the first MLS side to ever win at Estadio Banorte in the Quarterfinals and will now try to pull off another major feat in Mexico.
The winner of the series on aggregate will advance to the Final to play either Deportivo Toluca FC or Los Angeles FC.
