MIAMI, Florida – The semifinals of the 2023 Concacaf Caribbean Cup wrapped up last week with some great moments over the course of the four games. Here are the moments that stood out the most.

Star striker Shaquille Cairo’s red card in the 39 ^th minute left Robinhood to play a man down for slightly more than a half to play. Already down a goal, it could have easily come undone for the Surinamese visitors, but their defense held firm and kept Moca at bay until the final whistle. Not conceding a second goal in those final 61 minutes proved pivotal, as Robinhood were able to come back to even the series and eventually win it. Cavalier keep it clean It is easy to look at Cavalier and praise their attack for scoring 11 goals in the group stage and then another five in the semifinals, all while boasting the tournament’s top scorer in Shaniel Thomas with eight goals. But that would be overlooking the excellent defensive performance delivered by the Cavalier back line and GK Vino Barclett, who registered back-to-back clean sheets by making nine saves across the two games, the most of any goalkeeper in the semifinals. The Cavalier attack gets all the headlines, but the defense has also been just as effective in helping the club reach the Final.
