Club Sando makes Semifinals debut against Champions Mt. Pleasant
MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continues on Wednesday with Club Sando FC hosting defending champions Mount Pleasant FA in the First Leg of their Semifinals Series at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
Club Sando continues its debut campaign after finishing second in Group A to secure a Semifinals berth. The Trinidad & Tobago side got a 2W-1D-1L record for a total seven points, recording two clean sheets and only conceding two goals along the way.
Sando will aim to take the lead in front of its home crowd, with the team so far unbeaten at home in the tournament after 1W-1D-0L, lead by one of the club’s Club Sando’s standout performers so far this campaign, Luke Phillip, who scored two goals in the Group Stage.
Looking to make more history, Mt. Pleasant returns to the Semifinals for a second consecutive year as it continues its journey in search of defending the Caribbean Cup title, becoming the first defending champion to advance to the Semifinals the season after lifting the cup.
The Jamaican side secured the top spot in Group B with seven points from a 2W-1D-1L record, with Nickalia Fuller and Warner Brown Mt. Pleasant's top scorers so far with two goals each, while at the other end goalkeeper Shaquan Davis has kept two clean sheets.
