Miami, FL – Concacaf has conducted the official draw for the 2024/25 Concacaf W Champions Cup. The inaugural edition of the Confederation’s annual tournament, which will be played from August 2024 to May 2025, includes some of the best women’s clubs from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
The Concacaf W Champions Cup is also the sole path through which Concacaf clubs can qualify for the new FIFA Women’s Club World Cup. FIFA recently announced that the first edition will feature 16 clubs and be played between January and February 2026.
Sports anchor Adriana Monsalve hosted the live event in Miami, FL, which also included Concacaf President and FIFA Vice President Victor Montagliani and players Lixy Rodríguez (Costa Rica) and Kathryn Williamson (USA).
President Montagliani unveiled the Concacaf W Champions Cup brand and anthem. The selected colors represent the grit and intensity of this competition, while the logo evokes the silhouette of the trophy, the ultimate prize, and includes a Triple C in the center, the initials of the Concacaf Champions Cup
The brand essence is "For Greatness," as our clubs and players always strive to be the best they can be, giving everything and maximizing the power of their togetherness. The anthem, also named "For Greatness,” was composed by the renowned musician and producer Matt Clifford.

During Thursday’s draw, the 10 clubs participating in the competition’s group stage, all of which have qualified via their domestic league play (more details available here), were split into two groups of five clubs each and will play as follows:

Furthermore, it was determined that Alianza Women FC will host the Preliminary Round single-leg match versus Vancouver Whitecaps FC.
COMPETITION FORMAT AND DATES
The Concacaf W Champions Cup includes a Preliminary Round, followed by group and direct elimination play. The Preliminary Round will be a single-leg match between two clubs, with the winner advancing to the Group Stage.
Preliminary Round: August 13-15, 2024
The Group Stage will feature 10 clubs divided into two groups of five clubs each. Each club will play every club in its group once, for a total of four matches per club (two at home and two away). At the conclusion of Group Stage play, the group winners and runners-up (four clubs in total) will progress to the competition’s Finals.

The Semifinals (1A vs 2B and 1B vs 2A), Third Place Match, and Final, where the first-ever Concacaf W Champions Cup champion will be crowned, will be centralized in a venue to be announced.
