Team Profile

After a strong showing in the inaugural edition of the Concacaf Nations League, Grenada is looking to make noise in League A.

An undefeated run through a difficult League B group that included French Guiana, Belize, and Saint Kitts and Nevis put the Spice Boys into the top rung for the second edition of the CNL.

Grenada was tested, needing a stoppage-time winner from Jamal Charles to win in Belize and fighting to scoreless draws in both French Guiana and Saint Kitts and Nevis, but ultimately was able to find the ticket to the highest league.

The group win also gave them entrance into the Concacaf Gold Cup for the third time in history. While Grenada’s quest for a first-ever Gold Cup point continues, Romar Frank notched Granada’s second-ever goal at the continental championship in 2021.

The Grenada Football Association has been affiliated with Concacaf since 1978, shortly after the country’s independence from the United Kingdom, and continues to seek new heights for its national teams and also players in its country, maintaining a three-tiered domestic league system and a cup competition.

It also oversees the senior women’s national team, which earned a win in qualification for the 2016 Olympics and will be eager to take part in Concacaf’s new women’s competition setup.
