Medical replacement approved for 2023 Gold Cup Knockout Stage rosters

Miami, FL – Following the conclusion of the 2023 Gold Cup Group Stage, the men’s senior national teams of Canada, Costa Rica, Panama, and the United States have requested to make medical changes to their 23-man group stage rosters. In line with the competition’s regulations, a player can be replaced from a team’s 23-player roster in the event of serious injury, but it must be after the Group Stage and up until 24 hours before the kick off of the team’s quarterfinal match. Such proposed replacements must be submitted to the Concacaf Medical Committee for review and approval. Additionally, players proposed as medical replacements must come from the previously announced provisional rosters.
