GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala
Costa Rica have won their third straight Concacaf Futsal Championship after defeating the United States 3-2 in the 2021 CFC Final on Sunday night at the Domo Polideportivo de la CDAG in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

It is the fourth overall CFC title for the Ticos, with crowns won in 2000, 2012, 2016 and now 2021.

Costa Rica had to dig themselves out of an early deficit after Lucho Gonzalez gave the U.S. a 1-0 lead.

Goals from Daniel Gomez and Juan Cordero catapulted Costa Rica back into the lead, only for the U.S. to respond with an equalizer through Zach Reget.

But Gomez would notch his second goal of the night shortly before halftime, and that goal would hold up as the winning score to complete another triumphant CFC tournament for the Ticos.
