BRADENTON, Florida – Group F at the 2018 Concacaf Under-20 Championship promises to have its fair share of excitement in action with five teams aiming high.

Among the teams with first-place aspirations are El Salvador, Guatemala and Curacao.

The young Cuscatlecos are hungry to return to its first FIFA Under-20 World Cup since 2013 and will be leaning on the goal scoring exploits of players like DC United Academy FW Ronald Cerritos Jr., son of former El Salvador international legend Ronald Cerritos.

Guatemala will be making its third appearance in a CU20 and hoping to evoke the memories of 2011 when it finished in third place as the host nation.

Curacao stands to be a formidable foe as well. Look no further than the performance of the Curacao Senior Team in 2019/20 Concacaf Nations League Qualifying.

With a group of players plying their trade among the reserve sides of the top teams in Dutch football, Curacao will be looking to reach the Qualification Stage with an impressive display in Group F.

Rounding out the group are Guyana and the Cayman Islands, two nations planning to use the experience of the 2018 CU20 as the foundation for a brighter future at the youth and senior team level.
