BRADENTON, Florida Cuba, Antigua and Barbuda and Honduras all stayed unbeaten in Group C on Matchday 2 at the 2018 Concacaf Under-20 Championship on Saturday.

Cuba raced out to a 2-0 lead against the Dominican Republic through a strike from Rivaldo Ibarra (9’) and a Ronaldo Oviedo penalty conversion (60’).

The Dominicans would fight back though, as Gerrard Lavergne cut the deficit to one in the 79’, but in the end the Cuban defense held for a 2-1 win.

It was also a tight on between Antigua and Barbuda and Belize, with the Benna Boys emerging with a narrow 1-0 win thanks to Keon Greene’s left-footed finish in the 80’.

The day’s action in the group was capped by Honduras posting a 12-0 win over Sint Maarten on the strength of hat-tricks from Carlos Mejia, Cristian Calix and a brace from Luis Palma.
