Pachuca is ready for W Champions Cup Finals

The stadium is no stranger to big games, as they held the 2024 Champions Cup Final, and leg one of the 2025 Liga MX Femenil Clausura tournament.

MIAMI – The 2025/26 Concacaf W Champions Cup Finals will kick off on May 20 at Estadio Hidalgo in Pachuca, Mexico, with four teams looking to be part of women’s club football history in the region.

The four teams that will play for the W Champions Cup are Club América (MEX), Gotham FC (USA), Washington Spirit (USA), and CF Pachuca (MEX).

Women’s Football in Pachuca

Pachuca, Mexico is one of the cities that lives and breathes women’s football. CF Pachuca Femenil has elevated women’s football by developing one of the greatest academies in the domestic top-flight, Liga MX Femenil, with its senior team participating for the first time in the W Champions Cup Finals.

The Estadio Hidalgo, home of CF Pachuca, will host the Semifinals, Third Place, and Final for the first time. This stadium is no stranger to big games, as they held the First Leg of the 2025 Liga MX Femenil Clausura tournament, with Las Tuzas getting the result that led them to their first title, and the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup Final.

Pachuca: A City of Culture and Football

“La Bella Airosa”, Pachuca’s nickname for its winds, is one of the most important football hubs in the country, having the “Mundo del Futbol” museum, an interactive space to get close to the sport.

Within the Mundo Futbol walls is the International Football Hall of Fame, one of the most famous places in the county in which more of 180 football legends, men’s and women’s, honored for their careers.

The IHOF includes names like Mexico women’s national team Legend Andrea Rodebaugh (MEX), Haiti’s Head Coach Pia Sundhage (SWE), and U.S. Women’s National Team Legend and FIFA Women’s World Cup World Cup winner Mia Hamm (USA).

Crowning the next W Champions Cup winners

The 2025/26 Concacaf W Champions Cup Semifinals will see Club América Femenil vs. Gotham FC and Washington Spirit vs. CF Pachuca Femenil on May 20.

The Third-Place Match and Final will take place on May 23, marking the crowning of the second-ever W Champions Cup winners.
