Gotham FC seeking back-to-back championships at W Champions Cup
Gotham FC has returned to the Concacaf W Champions Cup Finals.
MIAMI – Gotham FC has returned to the Concacaf W Champions Cup Finals with a chance to make history as the first back-to-back champions of the competition.
The reigning titleholders arrive in Pachuca not only as continental champions, but also as the current NWSL champions after adding a second star to their crest in 2025.
Unlike some of the tournament’s highest-scoring sides, Gotham’s run has been defined by control, discipline, and efficiency rather than attacking volume.
A composed and experienced squad has been reinforced by the addition of former Chelsea and WSL champion Guro Reiten, joining a core that includes Rose Lavelle, Emily Sonnett, Bruninha, and Esther González.
Ahead of their return to the Finals, here’s a closer look at the data behind Gotham’s campaign.
