MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf W Champions Cup Finals kick off May 20 in Pachuca, Mexico, with the Washington Spirit seeking their first title, led by Game-Changer Trinity Rodman.

The Southern California native has developed into one of the top players in women’s football since being selected second overall in the 2021 NWSL Draft at just 18 years old—the youngest player ever drafted by the Spirit.

Rodman made an immediate impact at the club level, helping lead Washington to the 2021 NWSL Championship in her rookie season with six goals and five assists, earning NWSL Rookie of the Year honors and Best XI recognition. She has since become a central figure in the Spirit’s attack, recording 28 goals in 97 appearances.

On the international stage, Rodman rose through the U.S. youth ranks before debuting for the senior team in 2022. She played a key role in the gold medal run at the Paris 2024 Olympics, scoring twice in the group stage and netting the semifinal winner against Japan. She has recorded 55 caps and 13 goals, while helping the USWNT win multiple titles, including three SheBelieves Cups and the 2024 Concacaf W Gold Cup.

In the 2025/26 W Champions Cup, Rodman has continued her strong form, scoring two goals in two matches to help Washington win Group B and advance to the Finals.

Known for her pace, creativity, and ability to deliver in decisive moments, Rodman will be key as the Washington Spirit face CF Pachuca Femenil in the Semifinals on May 20, with a place in the Final on the line.
