  • Club América opened the scoring and held the lead for more than an hour against Juan Carlos Amorós’ side (66 minutes), becoming the first team to take the lead against Gotham FC in the current season of the Concacaf W Champions Cup.
  • Scarlett Camberos (Club América) scored against Gotham FC and has now found the net in each of her last three Concacaf W Champions Cup matches. Ana Dias (with Tigres last season) is the only other player to have scored in three consecutive matches in the tournament so far. In addition, Camberos became the first player to score a hat-trick in a knockout-stage match in the competition.
  • This marked the fourth time a Liga MX Femenil club has defeated an NWSL team in the Concacaf W Champions Cup. Club América accounts for three of those victories, after defeating San Diego Wave in the 2024 group stage and Orlando Pride in the 2025 group stage.
  • Geyse assisted on three of Club América’s four goals in this match. It was the first time the Brazilian recorded more than one assist in a continental club match (including the UEFA Women’s Champions League and the Concacaf W Champions Cup). She also became the fourth player to register three or more assists in a Concacaf W Champions Cup match and the first to do so against a Liga MX Femenil or NWSL club.
  • Esther González scored her fifth career goal in the Concacaf W Champions Cup and her second in knockout-stage matches after scoring the winning goal in the 2024/25 Final. Esther became the first player to score in multiple knockout-stage matches in Concacaf W Champions Cup history.
