USA tops Haiti

USA earned a 3-0 victory in the Group A match in Puebla.

PUEBLA, Mexico – The 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship continued with the United States winning 3-0 over Haiti in Group A on Saturday at Estadio Universitario BUAP in Puebla, Mexico.

Dino Klapija placed the U.S. in the lead in the 38’ with a right-footed finish from the left side of the box. Colin Guske delivered the assist after recirculating the ball into the area following a U.S. corner kick.

Haiti went down to ten men when Stanley Volcin received a red card in the 61’.

Ruben Ramos doubled the lead in the 68’ with a conversion from the penalty spot.

Santi Morales added his own conversion from the spot in the 89’ to put a bow on the victory as the USA took the full three points.

Haiti will seek to rebound when it meets Cuba on Tuesday. The United States will continue its campaign against El Salvador later that day.
