Honduras, Panama Face Final Group C Test
Two teams still chasing a knockout place meet as Group C reaches its final match.
PUEBLA, Mexico – The 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship continues as Honduras takes on Panama in Group C on Saturday at Estadio Universitario BUAP in Puebla, Mexico.
This meeting will mark the fifth between the two nations in Concacaf U-20 Championship history, with Honduras leading the all-time series 3-0-1. Their most recent encounter came in the Quarterfinals of the 2022 edition, where Honduras prevailed 2-1.
Los Catrachos are coming off a 1-1 draw against Canada that kept their hopes of advancing to the Knockout Stage alive.
Panama drew 2-2 with Jamaica in its last encounter to make this final Group Stage matchday vital for all four of the teams in Group C.
This match concludes the Group Stage and will determine which teams advance. The top two teams from each group, along with the two best third-place finishers, will move on to the Quarterfinals.
