Costa Rica and Mexico square off in a battle between unbeaten sides in Group B.

PUEBLA, Mexico – The 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship continues as Costa Rica meets Mexico in Group B on Monday at Estadio Cuauhtémoc in Puebla, Mexico.

Costa Rica enters with three points in hand after a 1-0 win over Guatemala in its opening match. Keyner Hernández scored the lone goal of the encounter in the 77th minute.

Mexico won its opening encounter by a score of 3-0 against Antigua and Barbuda. Hugo Camberos opened the scoring in the 12th minute before Francisco Valenzuela doubled the lead in the 22nd.

Santiago Sandoval added a third in the second minute of first half additional time, as the tournament hosts moved to the top of the group on goal difference.
