Canada, Honduras share points in Group C

Canada and Honduras split the points in Group C action at the 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship.

PUEBLA, Mexico – The 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship continued with Canada and Honduras playing to a 1-1 draw in Group C on Wednesday at Estadio Universitario BUAP in Puebla, Mexico.

After a scoreless first half, Canada opened the scoring in the 57’ when Lucas Lima blasted a shot from outside the box through a crowd of defenders.

Honduras responded in the 64’ as Richard Martínez chipped the ball into the left side netting for the tying goal.

Group C action continues on Saturday as Canada takes on Jamaica, while Honduras faces Panama.
